SubTrack collects and stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Subscription names, prices, categories, and billing frequencies that you enter manually
• Subscription information detected from your email content when you use the scan feature

We do not collect:

• Your email address, password, or login credentials
• Any data from websites you visit outside of Gmail and Outlook
• Personal identifiers, browsing history, or device information

2. How We Use Your Information

All data is used solely to:

• Display your subscription list and spending totals in the extension popup
• Calculate potential savings suggestions based on your subscriptions
• Detect subscription information from email content when you actively trigger the scan

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API, which keeps data on your device only. Data is not synced to any server, cloud service, or external database. If you uninstall the extension, all stored data is removed.

4. Email Scanning

SubTrack's email scanning feature:

• Only runs when you click the scan button in the popup or when you manually trigger it
• Only accesses the visible content of the email page you have open
• Does not access your email account, inbox, or any other emails
• Does not transmit email content to any external server
• Processes all detection locally within your browser

5. Third-Party Services

SubTrack does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not share data with any third parties.

6. Your Rights

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Removing individual subscriptions in the extension popup
• Uninstalling the extension, which clears all stored data
